Abstract - Neri Oxman: Bioarchitecture

Hello everyone before i start i would like to make you a question, did you know we could design something from natural material without using plastics ? Well i did not know that we could until today. Neri Oxman is a woman who in her entire life was raised by her architect parents, educated after in medical university and works as a professor in MIT. As her coworkers say for her she is for real " the combination of design, science and engineer in one. " Through all her life she studied nature as an example of design. Her whole team works for by and with nature. I happen to be interested in the fact how she solves a problem without even knowing that its there. As she says :"we don't problem solve we problem seek."

Neri Oxman is a lot of professions in one , a designer, a leader, an architect, a doctor, an artist but the way she connects with nature is an amazing aspect. She leads a team full of scientist, and the way of how she process with her projects is by changing them all the time. I see a connection between architectural design process of Neri in this movie. I see how even in architecture we work all the time and get inspired by the thing we see around us and change them all the time. In this case Neri uses the nature form to create and design but not only its form but even the materials to make a connection between the nature and human technology or buildings . In this way she helps people see and connect with the natural beauty but even help the world with a better healthier way of creating and living.
